How your map works

Molino's six surfaces and the question each one answers.

What you'll learn

  • What each Molino surface is and what it's for
  • What question you can ask each one
  • How they relate to each other (all of them start from the same profile)
  • Where to keep exploring depending on what you want to understand

What it is

Molino isn't a single screen: it's a set of surfaces that read the same profile from different angles. Each one exists to answer a specific question, not to repeat what you've already seen in another.

All of them start from the same calculation — your date of birth and, if you gave it, your name — done once when you built your map. What changes between surfaces is the angle: fixed identity, present moment, relationship with the world, or the long arc of time.

How it works

My Map answers: who am I according to the systems Molino uses? There you'll find your Life Path, your sun sign and your Chinese zodiac sign: the base data that doesn't change with the date.

Today answers: what's active for me right now? It combines your personal day, your personal year and the day's moon phase to build the Advice for the Moment — explained in detail in the Today guide.

Affinities answers: which slot of my cycle does each entity in the world fall into? Countries, cities, brands, universities, famous people and movies, compared sign against sign with yours: your own sign, your two friends, your enemy or the rest (see the affinities guide).

Journal answers: what do I want to record and observe about my own journey? It's the only space where you write the content, not Molino.

Year (Evolution) answers: what long cycle am I in? It looks at an arc of time wider than your Personal Year, with perspective on patterns you can't see day to day.

Month (Calendar) answers: what changes during this period? It's the intermediate view between Today's daily detail and Year's long arc.

How Molino uses it

No surface invents a new piece of data: they all read from the same profile, calculated once. This is deliberate — it's the reason Molino has no database or server for your profile: everything lives in your browser and is recalculated locally each time.

Fact, tradition and Molino's reading

Fact

Your date of birth (and your name, if you gave it) is the only input. It's calculated once and every surface reuses it.

Tradition

Each surface rests on a different tradition: numerology for the Life Path and personal cycles, Western astrology for the sun sign, the Chinese zodiac for your Chinese sign and the affinities.

Molino's reading

Molino doesn't merge the traditions into a single number: it shows them separately and connects them with you — you decide what to explore and when.

What it does NOT mean

  • No surface predicts the future or tells you what to do: they're symbolic readings, not instructions.
  • No surface is 'more important' than another — each one answers a different question, not a summarized version of the others.
