How My Map is put together
Sign against sign, three slots and an order that doesn't change the result.

What you'll learn
- What My Map compares and what it deliberately leaves out
- What the three slots are: your own sign, your two friends and your enemy
- Why your country changes the order of the list but not the result
- Why some categories don't appear yet
What it is
My Map answers a single question: where your Chinese zodiac sign touches the world. It takes real entities — cities and countries, universities, people, movies, cars, clothing — and places them according to the relationship between their sign and yours.
How it works
Each entity has a documented date of origin: the founding of a city or a club, the birth of a person, the release of a movie. That date gives its sign, with the same Chinese New Year cutoff used for yours.
Then it's compared sign against sign, and each entity falls into one of four slots: your own sign, one of your two friends (San He), your enemy (Liu Chong) or the rest of the cycle. The first three are shown, in that order; the enemy is read as what's best avoided.
Within each slot there's an order: first up to three entities from your country and then the world; for people, first those born within one turn of the cycle of you (twelve years either way); for brands, the high-end ones go last. That order decides what you see first, never which slot something is in.
How Molino uses it
There's only one rule and you can check it by hand: year of origin, sign, relationship with yours. Numerology, the sun sign and the elements don't come into it: those layers have their own section.
A category appears when it has at least twelve entities with an exact date, one per sign of the cycle. With fewer, half the signs would see an empty block, so it's announced as pending instead of being padded out.
Fact, tradition and Molino's reading
Fact
Your date of birth, your country (if you gave it) and each entity's documented date of origin.
Tradition
The two relationships of the cycle of twelve that appear in every source: friends of the same triangle (三合 San He) and the direct opposite (六冲 Liu Chong).
Molino's reading
Molino groups by slot instead of scoring. Two people with the same sign see the same entities in the same slots; the country only changes the order in which they appear.
What it does NOT mean
- A city or a university being in your friends' slot isn't a recommendation to move or change careers: it's a symbolic relationship between two dates.
- There's no hidden score: within a slot, all the entities have the same relationship with your sign.
